Photography has become a big part of my life, partially by choice and partially by circumstance.
I was born in Detroit and have lived in St. Clair Shores the last 20 years. I graduated from De La Salle Collegiate High School and began a program in Computer Engineering at Kettering University in Flint which turned out to be something I enjoyed more in the classroom than in the workplace. I abandoned my CE degree despite being close to graduation to pursue another passion at Wayne State University in Detroit. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, Magna Cum Laude. The shutter started clicking for me back in high school but didn't come about as a profession until 2006.
I know what I want to achieve in life. I'd like to think that photography is going to play a role in helping me get there.
I love shooting, and I thoroughly enjoy being around others who share the same passion. Although I shoot mostly sports, concerts, action, and nightlife, I am constantly testing new waters and experimenting with new concepts when time allows.
I am proud to say I've had my photos in a number of printed publications and on numerous websites, including Real Detroit Weekly, HOUR Detroit, Six Degrees Magazine, PictureThisDetroit.com, DetroitCity.com, The South End News, and countless additional websites. Most recently, my work has been featured regularly on Detroit Metromix.
